Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of buysatelliteimages.com, including the imagery search portal, questionnaire, and order/tasking request forms (together, the "Site"), operated by XRTech Group ("XRTech Group", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. See also our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information collected through the Site and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Eligibility & Business Use

The Site is intended for business, government, and professional use in evaluating, requesting, and ordering satellite imagery and related geospatial products. By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to submit requests and enter into agreements on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

When submitting a contact, quote, or order request, you agree to provide accurate, current information, including a valid business email address where applicable. We may decline to process a request if the information provided appears incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent.

The Services We Provide

Through the Site, XRTech Group provides:

• An imagery search portal for browsing archive satellite imagery coverage and availability by area of interest (AOI).
• Tools to request quotes for archive imagery and new tasking (satellite capture) orders, across optical, SAR, multispectral, and hyperspectral products.
• A contact form and direct channels (email, WhatsApp) to reach our team.

Quotes generated through the Site are estimates based on the information and AOI you provide. They are not binding orders until confirmed in writing by our team, and final pricing, delivery timelines, and product specifications are set at that stage.

Quotes, Pricing & Orders

Pricing shown or calculated on the Site (including on /pricing or within the questionnaire) is indicative and may vary based on area of interest, resolution, capture mode, provider, minimum order thresholds, and current satellite availability. Orders above certain sizes, or requiring non-standard resolutions or capture modes, are quoted individually by our team rather than priced automatically.

The Site does not collect payment card or bank details. Once a quote is confirmed, payment terms, invoicing, and delivery are arranged directly between you and our team by email or other agreed channel, outside the Site itself.

We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or delay an order where required by export control or sanctions obligations (see Restricted Territories & Export Compliance), where a satellite or data provider cannot fulfill the request, or where payment or required documentation is not received.

Refunds & Cancellations

Fees are non-refundable once a tasking order has been scheduled with a satellite provider or archive imagery has been delivered, except where required by law. Cancellation requests made before a tasking order is scheduled will be reviewed by our team, and any cancellation terms will be confirmed in writing.

Imagery Licensing & Usage Rights

Satellite imagery and derived products supplied through XRTech Group are licensed, not sold. Unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of order, imagery is provided for your internal business, analysis, or reporting use, and you may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or make the raw imagery available to third parties as a standalone data product without our prior written consent.

Ownership of and underlying rights to the imagery remain with XRTech Group and/or its satellite and data providers. Specific usage terms (such as internal-use-only, client-deliverable, or publication rights) are confirmed as part of your order, and those order-specific terms govern where they differ from this general section.

Restricted Territories & Export Compliance

Access to the Site is not available from certain countries subject to sanctions or other restrictions, and this may change without notice as our compliance obligations change. Separately, we cannot process an archive or tasking order for an area of interest that overlaps land territory subject to those same restrictions, however small the overlap.

You agree to use the Site and any imagery obtained through it in compliance with all applicable export control, sanctions, and trade laws, including those of the United Arab Emirates and any jurisdiction from which you access the Site or to which imagery is delivered.

Prohibited Uses

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable export control, sanctions, or trade law.
• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data, imagery previews, or pricing from the Site outside the normal order process.
• Attempt to circumvent geographic access restrictions, security controls, or rate limits on the Site.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the operation of the Site or the systems behind it.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in a contact, quote, or order request.
• Use imagery obtained through XRTech Group outside the license terms agreed for that order.

Intellectual Property

The Site itself, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying software, is owned by or licensed to XRTech Group and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "Buy Satellite Images" and associated logos are trademarks of XRTech Group. Except for imagery and materials you receive as part of a confirmed order, nothing on the Site grants you a license to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from its content without our prior written permission.

Confidentiality

We treat the details of your requests and orders, including your area of interest, project information, and contact details, as confidential. We use this information only to prepare quotes, fulfill orders, and communicate with you, and share it with satellite and data providers only as needed to deliver your order, except where disclosure is required by law.

Third-Party Links & Services

The Site links to third-party services, such as WhatsApp and the main XRTech Group website (opens in a new window). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service. Use of those services is subject to their own terms.

Disclaimers

The Site, and the imagery, coverage information, and pricing estimates it provides, are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Satellite imagery availability, cloud cover, revisit timing, and delivery timelines are estimates based on information from our satellite and data providers and can change due to factors outside our control, including weather, satellite scheduling, and technical constraints.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that imagery or coverage estimates shown will be complete or fully accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site and the products and services described on it.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from the use of the Site or any imagery or service obtained through it, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. If only part of an order is affected, XRTech Group will refund or compensate only for the affected km² of that order, not the full order. Our total liability will never be more than the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of the United Arab Emirates or other applicable law.

Force Majeure

XRTech Group is not responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather and cloud cover, satellite or ground station outages, provider scheduling changes, acts of government, sanctions changes, or natural events.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold XRTech Group harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right, including export control and sanctions obligations described above.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal and regulatory requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
